WE DON'T GO FOR A SECOND CHANCE, WE GRAB A FIRST IMPRESSION!

‘Never a second chance for a first impression’. With this in mind we prepared ourselves for 2 ‘Sunday gigs’ on the 26th of June. And preparation in this specific situation means collecting and combining numbers that set the feeling of our set right. With a hot sun shining bright and a sky transfering into ‘KLM Blue’, our sets asked for ‘SUMMER’. ‘SUMMER’ in the flow and summer in our ‘show’.
Carrying our big smiles with us as a standard and our CD’s / SD’s for the ‘Double Dutch’ feeling. Totally ready to go. Totally ready to flow. Totally ready to show that ‘Brothers in the Booth’ differ from the large amount of artists who base their ‘status’ on history. Artists who just come to get their money and let their ‘entourage’ drink their ‘rider drinks’. No, we do it just OUR WAY; We arrive early in a club (if possible) and do a drink and talk with the people who booked us. Yes, with our clients. A normal thing for us, but something that makes us unique. And that’s just what we like to be.
18.00 PM. Our arrival at ‘Beachclub O.’ in Noordwijk. A fantastic white hotspot that is even more fantastic when the sun is shining. A real ‘St. Tropez’ feeling took us to an even higher energy-level than the one we entered the club with. Our settime between 20.00 and 22.00 gave us the opportunity to have some drinks and a good meal, served with the highest hospitality. THANKS! And with everybody standing outside in the sun we started our first hour in a sexy ‘Groovy Techhouse’ way @ 126bpm.
Around 21.00 the first people decided to hit the floor and make their feet and hands move and we switched into our ‘Ibiza Sound’ selection. And with presenting 2 of our ‘H&D Collabs’ (Cashewnut & Rolling in the Deep (bootleg)) in this second hour we think we touched the right ‘chord’. Some ‘FDP’ (BN-ers) went crazy to our sound as we ended our set with ‘Stronger’ and a lot of well-dressed girls on the dancefloor! A unique experience on a more than unique location. 22.50 PM. Our arrival at ‘BC WIJ’ in Scheveningen. Finding a parkingspot (no, we don’t have a private driver yet :-P) always takes some time, but when we arrived at the entrance we were directly supported by the security for a safe and quick walk to the booth. With ‘Risksoundsystem’ doing their thing, we felt we could add some extra energy in the last hour. A rising temperature, a lot of people standing outside and one hour left to go. The ultimate feeling of putting some ‘Last Monday Experience’ into practice. Ready??? GO!!
Endless energy is where our bodies are filled with. And as we like to share this with you, we danced, jumped, lifted and ‘sing-along-ed’ from our unique position behind the decks. Because, if you have the opportunity to set the place ‘ON FIRE’, just use it! AND SO WE DID! And while we easily could have won a ‘Wet T-shirt Contest’ our beats kept on rolling from climax to climax.
The proof that ‘Brothers in the Booth’ can close a night in their own rocking international way. A way that was supported by a lot of visitors @ BC WIJ! We don’t like to tell ‘lies’, we rather do it with ‘Lise’. And with this fantastic Arno Cost banger, we blow our last energy into the room. Thanks BC WIJ, Thanks Vincent, Thanks Fedor for having us.
