Rolling on the highway towards our next gig!! Our schedule is filled up with more and more performances and the first weekend March was marked with two nice ones: Friday in '020' and saturday in '010'. Gigs in the two biggest party-capitals of our country and therefor looking forward to both of them for quite a few days already. SD-card updated? Check! Headphones with us? Check! CD's with us in case of 'old CDJ-equipment? Check! Totally ready for another weekend of sharing our sound with you: LET'S GO!!!
SHINING LIKE A JEWELRY
'WE ARE GOLDEN' was making it's debut @ Escape Venue and with our personal 'Escape-debut' of last weekend still in mind, we were looking forward to this one in a big way. With our banger 'H.Y.H.' (On Air @ Radio Decibel) blowing the speakers of our car, we rocked the highway hard. Entering the club around half past 23, with Pascal Moreno & Tyron Kemble playing the first tunes of the night. We jumped in the booth 15 minutes later and started our set in a funky flow for a bunch of people.
Our big smiles (from ear to ear indeed) made the match with the music and with the first people getting from the side to the middle of the dance-floor, our goal was accomplished. Flashy-golden 'Miss Sugaware' took our stick and continued her set in a techy-way. The right way to start a night (in our opinion). And with Geneiro Nvilla, Real Canario and Brian Chundro & Santos coming up next, we could left the club and the night going along in safe hands. Thank you for all the nice words on our set! We hope to show you soon more of us! ;-)
WHERE SEXYNESS BECOMES PORN
Next to this 'Helguera & Dominicus' came in early (or did they sleep on our 'King of the Divan'??) for some rocking video-shots to support the teaser of our festivalbanger for this season. Already so excited about this one, but you all have to wait some more weeks for any information regarding this. Curious? NICE!! The rest of the day was filled with playing music and having a nice meeting with the guys from 'Timeless Events'. And with the night falling and the hunger (for beats) growing our definite preparation for the night had begun.
A settime from 3 till 4 in the SEXY area of 'Crazy Sexy Cool' gave us time to listen 'Live' to our weekly 'Dance Nights' mix on Radio Decibel. And with the Maassilo quite close to where we live, we decided to prove we REALLY keep both feet on the ground in the ultimate way. No car, no taxi, no limo. No, 'Brothers in the Booth' (and their support) decided to WALK to their gig! You know our energy and we love it.
Arriving around a quarter past 2 at the venue where Rancido was playing his deep sounds and Stefan Vilijn was doing it the 'Yasmin Garden way' in the 'Crazy' area. A location which we visited so often before during a lot of different parties and now we are playing here ourselves: So proud! And with our gig transformed from a '1 hour' into a '2 hour set', we could only feel the sexyness changing into 'Ultimate Porn'. Feeling every beat ourselves and singing every vocal like the best 'playbacker in the world' we tried to give the magic touch to the people on the floor. And with the 'SEXY' area being the 'walk-through' of the club, we had feeling of a little 'Redlight District' in Rotterdam.
We like to thank the organisation for the opportunity to show our sexyness during this night and we like thank Baggi Begovic for leaving 'his hour' to us. And with Michael Mendoza giving his compliments to our sound when leaving to club, we could only feel satisfied! Thank you all for coming and special thanks to our 'Partners in Rhyme' for supporting and advising us in a big way! Respect! BAM!!!
#TGIF. Last friday twitter was overloaded with a 'hash-tag' which marked that a lot of you had enough of their colleagues (again) and probably would like to show their boss their finger that's in the middle. And we, of course, were happy with another friday too! Not because of the mentioned reasons, but because of our first gig of the weekend.
Our complete saturday was marked by 'everything related to music'. With a studio-session in the morning and with some video-shots around the afternoon, we started this day in an intensive way. 'AJG Filmproductions' (the one responsible for our hot & booming 'A day at the Pool' video of 2010) made some additional studio-shots for our first production we did together with the guys of 'Soul Cartel'. 'Ibiza Sunrise' will probably be available on 'Youtube' this week, so stay tuned for a short blog related to this.
